What is the Opportunity?

Product Control team member covering the business function for the Investment Grade Europe desk, within Global Spread Products.

All responsibilities carried out in accordance with the Code of Conduct, RBC Values and Guiding Principles ensuring adherence to Privacy principles.

Note: while this role is based in Toronto, it involves covering a UK-based desk, hence there would be a 6:30am start time.

What will you do?

• Provide an effective link between Front Office (FO), & Financial Control, bringing sound product knowledge into the arena, so that any disagreements in daily P+L are resolved on a timely basis & ultimate P+L agreement with FO is achieved, evidenced & logged.
• Production of daily desk P&L including commentaries
• Justification of P&L via daily risk-based decomposition, utilizing the Greeks and new trade analysis
