The Financial Manager – Budget & Financial Systems is a temporary role that provides expert financial analysis, budget management support, and governance to faculty and service units, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and high-quality decision‑making. Responsibilities
Budget Management and Planning
Drafts and issues budget objectives for faculties and services. Provides expertise and makes recommendations to ensure budget data is consistent, high quality, and reliable. Actively assists in drafting Operating Fund and Ancillary Services Fund budgets and monitoring follow‑up actions. Revises budget projections and conducts comparative analyses to ensure realistic forecasts. Plays a key role in preparing the five‑year plan for the Operating Fund, determining assumptions and analyzing revenue and expense scenarios.
