Duties and Responsibilities.
1. Prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to reporting and procedural standards.
2. Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements, including monthly and annual accounts.
3. Ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.
4. Prepare financial management reports.
5. Establish and monitor the implementation and maintenance of accounting control procedures.
6. Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
7. Compute taxes and prepare returns, ensuring compliance with payments, reporting and other tax requirements.
