Tax Senior Accountant (Portugal)

We are hiring a Statutory & Tax Senior Accountant to join a multinational company in the FMCG sector. This role focuses on statutory reporting and tax compliance within a dynamic and international environment
Responsibilities
- Prepare statutory financial statements under Portuguese GAAP (SNC)
- Ensure timely and accurate tax compliance (IRC, VAT and other obligations)
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaise with external auditors and support audit processes
- Monitor changes in local accounting and tax regulations
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation standards
- Work closely with local and international stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in statutory accounting and tax
