Position Overview

Senior Accountant – Assurance team, North Bay office.

Responsibilities

• Effectively perform assurance engagements for private, public and NPO organizations to ensure relevant professional standards and firm policies are followed
• Effectively plan and execute assurance engagements
• Address client issues in a timely manner, following BDO policy and using strong technical skills and accounting experience
• Apply appropriate industry/business knowledge to anticipate, identify and address issues relevant to the client’s business

Qualifications & Experience

• Completed or actively working toward CPA designation
• At least 3 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry
• Enjoys working across a variety of client industries and keen to develop further knowledge
