Senior Access to Information and Privacy Officer (Temporary Opportunity)

Overview

We are seeking a temporary Senior Access to Information and Privacy Officer to join our team. In this key role, you will ensure that WorkSafeBC meets its obligations under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) by providing legal expertise and strategic oversight for access to information and privacy matters. Reporting to the Manager, Access to Information and Privacy, your work will involve analyzing and responding to complex freedom of information requests, managing high-risk privacy complaints and breaches, and ensuring compliance with privacy regulations, ministerial directives, and the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner (OIPC).
