Summary About the Position: This is a Security Specialist, GS-0080-09/11 position with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Little Rock District, Emergency Management & Security Office. This is a developmental position which can be filled at the GS-09 level with promotion potential to the GS-11 level. Promotion is at management's discretion. This position is located in Little Rock, Arkansas. Responsibilities Verify personnel granted access to classified information have the requisite level of security clearance and approval. Reviews and maintains existing Personnel Security Programs to ensure relevancy, currency and thoroughness in meeting existing or evolving security mission requirements. Prepares security bulletins, provides training and other information and awareness materials related to security, security systems and procedures.
