Overview

Retail Security Officer – M&S Stevenage. You will create a safe, welcoming and secure environment for customers and colleagues. The role requires calm under pressure, professionalism, and strong customer service while protecting our stores, people and products.

Location: M&S Stevenage. Salary: £14.90 per hour guaranteed, 40+ hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a fast‑paced retail environment, staying alert, responsive and ready to step in when needed.
• Create a welcoming store environment and greet customers while delivering professional support to customers and colleagues.
• Help keep the store safe and secure – prevent loss, respond to incidents, identify risks and support safe ways of working.
• Use store technology, including mobile reporting systems and body‑worn cameras, to support store operations and incident management.
