Security Guard – Tactical Response (AST Certified) - Victoria, BC

Securiguard is currently looking for a Full-Time Security Professional, who is experienced and motivated, to join our team in Swartz Bay.

Location: Swartz Bay

Pay Rate: $25/hr

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety and security of ferry terminal and onboard vessels
• Utilize appropriate control techniques to gain compliance of a subject when necessary
• Act as a visible security presence and deterrent to support a safe environment
• Engage with the public to provide assistance, direction, and exceptional customer service
• Perform security procedures including unlock/lock-up checks and routine inspections
• Operate communication tools such as radios and elevate incidents as necessary
• Identify, report, and help mitigate safety hazards
• Support passenger safety and satisfaction during coast-to-coast travel
