Agency Recoveries Officer

As an Agency Recoveries Officer within RBC Credit Management and Recoveries, you will aid in maximizing recoveries after write-off to minimize RBC Royal Bank’s losses. You will service 3rd‑party collection agencies in maximizing recoveries for the bank.

What will you do?

• Handle inbound calls from customers, collection agencies and internal service partners to assist with debt recovery and administration requests
• Serve as the national primary contact for designated agencies on the portfolio
• Decide settlement proposals from agencies or customers, resolve complaints, approve legal action and reconcile agency payments
• Ensure that agencies follow the guidelines set forth in the Service Agreement through day‑to‑day operations
• Take initiative to contribute to the team on any gaps in service and assist with other products when volumes dictate
