S2526-338 - Temporary Custodian - Summer Work

Position

Summer Daytime Custodian – 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

Location: Determined by the Custodial department; subject to change.

Pay: $28.09 per hour plus 16.3% in lieu of benefits.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education preferred, supplemented by completion of a Building Service Worker Certificate.
• Current custodial experience.
• Working knowledge of operation of fire and intruder alarm systems.
• Ability to work with minimum direction.
• Ability to maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, students, and the public.
• Meets physical requirements: lift up to 50 lbs, carry 30 lbs, push/pull 80 lbs, stand/walk, sustain repeated twisting and bending, squatting posture, grip up to 95% of day.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
