Roads Operator 1 (1 Existing Full-time Position) INTERNAL/EXTERNAL JOB POSTING The Town of Wasaga Beach is seeking energetic and self‑motivated individual to join our  Public Works team as Roads Operator I .

This position plays an important role in maintaining and improving municipal roads, right‑of‑ways, and related infrastructure.

Position Overview: Reporting to the Roads Foreperson(s), the successful candidate will support the Public Works team in a wide range of maintenance and construction activities, including but not limited to: Garbage and recycling collection, Grass mowing, brush cutting, and tree trimming, Asphalt patching (hot and cold), Shoulder maintenance and washout repairs, Traffic control and installation of traffic signs/devices, Sidewalk and curb maintenance, Barge operations may coincide with obtaining the SVOP license through training in the Small Vessel Operator Proficiency Course, Maintenance of storm sewers and drain...
