Responsibilities

• Plan, allocate, and monitor daily and weekly work activities of maintenance teams. Prepare weekly work schedules and ensure tasks are executed in accordance with approved work plans and duty sheets. Conduct routine road inspections to identify, assess, and record road infrastructure defects. Monitor and report illegal activities and encroachments within the road reserve. Supervise the utilisation, inspection, and safe operation of departmental vehicles, plant, equipment and tools, ensuring they are used solely for official purposes.
