**Position Purpose:**
The Medical/Surgical unit at Mount Carmel St, Ann's is 40 beds. The Registered nurse would expect to see mostly medical and surgical patients with some oncology patients. This unit also is involved in the care of adolescent patients age 13 and over. Med Surg is a great area to grow and learn about patients with diagnoses that span the medical spectrum. It is a fast-paced and engaging environment with a focus on individualized and evidence-based care.
The Registered Nurse RN, within the scope of the Ohio Nurse Practice Act, will provide care in an atmosphere sensitive to each person’s physical, emotional, social and spiritual needs.
