Patient Care Unit (PCU) Nurse
Location: Tucson, AZ
Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM
Job Description: The Resource Float Pool is a diversely skilled team that provides support throughout the two campuses to ensure high-quality patient care in various adult health settings. The role requires the ability to float among multiple units, including Med Surg, PCU, and, occasionally, the ED or PACU, to accommodate patient needs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to adult health patients across various units.
- Float between different health units as needed to support patient care.
- Administer medications and perform assessments in a high-acuity environment.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
