JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Mechanical Services Manager, the Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics is responsible for diagnosing and completing repairs on all company heavy equipment.
SUMMARY OF ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Perform all needed maintenance activities for all construction fleet vehicles, including Rock trucks, bulldozers, excavators, grader, backhoe, forklift and trucks
- Assist in running a clean, safe and professional shop
- Fleet maintenance will usually be completed in the shop and sometimes on the mountain
- Perform welding on non‑critical components
