Opportunity Description
The salary range for this position is CAD $28.74/Hr.
Hours of work, start/stop times, days off, work area and site may be subject to change consistent with operations requirements and applicable provisions of the Collective Agreement and statutes. Testing may be required. A criminal record check may be required.
Responsible for registering patients in the computerized admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) system, processing preadmissions, admissions, and discharges, and coordinating bed assignments with clinical staff. Maintains patient registration records, generates reports, monitors bed availability, and performs related clerical and administrative duties to support efficient patient flow and hospital operations.
Education
- Grade 12 and two years' recent, related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to keyboard at 40 w.p.m.
