Job Description
The successful candidate will provide Mental Health Nursing care to adult inpatient Psychiatry patients. The RPN role includes medication administration, delivering patient care to individuals suffering from a psychiatric diagnosis or acute symptoms.
Your responsibilities will include:
Making behavioural observations, mental status and physical assessments of patientsMonitoring patients' responses to pharmaceutical care interventions and reporting findings to the healthcare teamAdministering medications in accordance with prescriptions and organisational protocolsMaintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care, observations and interventionsProviding ongoing communication with other team members, charge nurses and interdisciplinary staff to ensure continuity of careDelivering therapeutic and compassionate patient care whilst maintaining professional boundariesPartici...
