Interior Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our oncology team at Shuswap Lake General Hospital in Salmon Arm, BC. This relief position will be full‑time until September 14, 2027, or the return of the incumbent.

About the Job

The Registered Nurse, Oncology will:

• Set priorities, provide clinical expertise and leadership for the plan of care, plan and implement health care treatments and interventions, and assign and delegate tasks as appropriate to other members of the healthcare team.
• Ensure the client/family unit actively participates in the development, implementation and ongoing modification of the plan of care, including long and short‑term goals.
• Establish a therapeutic relationship through the use of effective interpersonal and interviewing techniques, ensuring client choice and autonomy in decision‑making and care planning.
