Department: Emergency Department

The Emergency Department is open 24 hrs/day 7 days per week. It is staffed by a multi-disciplinary team of registered nurses, registered respiratory therapists, social services, crisis intervention, orthopedic technicians and other members of our health care team.
Qualifications
Certification/Experience/Knowledge
- Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario in good standing required
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Providers (HCP) Certificate is required (recent within the last twelve months)
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certificate (within 2 years) required
- Coronary Care Course (min. 25 hrs.) and/or Lead II/12 Lead Interpretation Course (min. 25 hrs.) required
