Your Opportunity

Patient Care Unit 51, Foothills Medical Centre, is a tertiary level Labour & Delivery Unit, including Triage and High Risk Antepartum. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will provide patient and family centered nursing care throughout the antenatal, intrapartum and immediate postpartum period. You will work within a multidisciplinary team in a dynamic, fast paced area, which requires the ability to communicate effectively in a professional and respectful manner to ensure safe, quality care is provided. Over time, you will have the opportunity to provide nursing care in different areas within the unit including Labour & Delivery, the 7th floor Elective Cesarean Section Slate, Triage, High Risk Antepartum, the Labor and Delivery Operating/Recovery Room, and High Risk Rooms.
