Western Massachusetts Hospital operated by the Department ofPublic Health (DPH)is seekingan experiencedRegistered Nurse toserveastheNursingHouseSupervisor.Weare aspecialtycare hospital providingin-patientservices toindividualsinneedofventilator/respiratory,endoflifecare,neuromuscular, Alzheimer’s, andchronic care.The selected candidatesupervises and coordinates patient care staff andnursingcare activities throughout thefacilityduring anassigned shiftfor adult and/geriatricpatientsbygenerating nursingassignmentsand timeschedules.TheNursingHouseSupervisor willassess compliancewithJCAHOandfacilitystandards,physicianordersandtreatmentplansas wellasensuring continuity ofcareandcompletionofNursingCarePlan(NCP).
