Assists in leading the daily operations of a specific unit. Acts as a resource, lead, and clinical role model for the patient care team. Advances and oversees patient care standards of the unit for the designated shift. Also facilitates and coordinates patient care delivery and flow through the continuum of care. Supports nursing professional development, Magnet, and Shared Governance through participation in, and mentoring of colleagues, on councils and the Clinical Ladder program
