Opportunity Description
Northern Health is searching for a dedicated Registered Medical Laboratory Technologist to join its Laboratory department. This position prioritizes both individual performance and team collaboration in various lab disciplines.
As part of our dynamic team, you will work under the Chief Medical Technologist, bringing 3-4 years of clinical experience across a range of laboratory areas including Quality Control and Phlebotomy. Your role will not only involve hands-on lab work but also orientating and supervising newcomers in our well-equipped facility.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute laboratory procedures in multiple areas
• Participate in on-call duties as required
• Maintain accuracy in all testing processes
• Guide new team members and supervise lab operations
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
Requirements:
• CSMLS certification is mandatory
• 3-4 years' relevant laboratory experience
• Prior supervisory experience is an advantage
