Registered Dietitian

Overview

This position reports to the Professional Practice Manager and will be primarily responsible to support outpatient Diabetes,Metabolic Health, & Extensive Needs Services clinics. This position may have additional responsibilities of assisting with otherareas within the hospital as required and may include off-site transitional care unit coverage one day per week as needed

The Registered Dietitian is an integral part of the inter professional team and provides collaborative, comprehensive and person-centered care, and education conducive to behavior change and improved quality of life across the lifespan. The Registered Dietitian will deliver comprehensive diabetes education, nutritional therapy, education and prevention to clients for the management of T1 and T2 diabetes in adults, gestational diabetes and cardiometabolic and obesity care.
