Recreation Assistant

Summary About the position: This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Travis Outdoor Recreation facility at Travis Air Force Base, CA. Must be physically able to lift and carry equipment weighing up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 75 pounds with assistance. Eligible to use base facilities such as: Base Exchange (BX), Gym, Outdoor Rec, Library, Marina, Golf Course, Bowling Center, and the Arts & Crafts Center. Responsibilities Provide customer service to both internal and external customers, answering the telephone and responding to e-mails. Responsible for cash and inventory accountability, operating cash register, and providing input into a Point of Sale (POS) system. Takes reservations for trips/tours, rental equipment, campsites, stalls, RV storage and aquatic center events.
