Recreation Assistant Outdoor Guide

Summary Support the Military's Quality of Life programs! The Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) department of Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) provides fitness, recreation, lodging and food and beverage programs for service members, their families, retired military and civilian employees. This position operates through the Outdoor Recreation Division aboard NAS Whidbey Island. The employee will guide a variety of outdoor adventure program trips and adventures. Responsibilities Activities include but are not limited to hiking, backpacking, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, mountaineering, canoeing, kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, fishing, and camping. Assist in planning and supervision of outdoor recreational trips, tours, and special events. Incumbent will be required to properly fit and outfit customers with a variety of outdoor recreational rental equipment.
