Reactor Components Design Engineer

Responsibilities

Perform conceptual, preliminary and detailed mechanical design engineering work for reactor components to applicable codes, standards and procedures meeting quality, budget, and schedule expectations.

Conduct and/or lead conceptual, preliminary and detailed phases of the engineering work for reactor components.

Prepare and review technical documents, such as:

• Technical calculations
• Engineering drawings and bill of materials
• Design specifications, design requirements, design manuals
• Technical specifications for procurement, fabrication, and site installation
• Code classifications and commissioning specifications

Support the technical leads and management in the development, planning, and scheduling of the work.

Support new proposals, procurement engineering, manufacturing, qualification, and installation of the items and components designed.
