Lead rail engineering initiatives with Agilus by Synergie as a Rail Engineering Subject Matter Expert in Calgary, Alberta. Drive compliance and optimization across capital projects for the Oil and Gas Industry.
In this contract role, you will provide technical leadership in rail engineering for major projects while acting as an SME for yard design and integration. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll develop engineering standards and ensure compliant solutions aligned with operational needs. Site travel may be required, adding to the dynamic nature of this position.
Key Responsibilities: • Serve as primary Rail Subject Matter Expert for pre-FEED/FEED phases • Develop and maintain engineering standards, specifications, and documents • Review rail yard, rack, and shunting designs • Manage rail risk registers and advise on mitigation strategies • Interface with Class I railways for compliance
