Opportunity Description
Island Health is hiring a full-time General Radiologist to serve the North Island’s Comox Valley and Campbell River hospitals. This position offers a mix of imaging services in a collaborative setting.
The ideal candidate will possess certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, alongside full licensure from CPSBC. The position requires skills in various imaging modalities, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy, and allows candidates to call either Campbell River or Comox home.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct diagnostic imaging: x-ray and fluoroscopy
• Manage CT and MRI procedures
• Implement basic non-vascular interventional techniques
• Operate within an advanced PACS environment
• Provide essential ultrasound services to patients
Requirements:
• Must have certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada
• Full CPSBC licensure is required
