Job Description
As a Public Safety LMR Radio Infrastructure Software Test Specialist, you will be responsible for the rigorous validation of mission-critical voice and data infrastructure. Your work ensures that first responders (Police, Fire, and EMS) have a always-ready communication backbone. You will test the software driving digital trunked simulcast systems, dispatch consoles, and core network controllers, focusing on high availability, security (encryption), and inter-agency interoperability using a combination of manual and scripted test scenarios.
Mission-Critical System Testing: Design and execute test plans for P25 (Phase 1 & 2) infrastructure, including trunking controllers, base stations, and multisite gateways, network switches and routers, and servers.
Protocol & Interface Validation: Perform deep-packet analysis of LMR-specific interfaces such as ISSI (Inter-Subsystem Interface) and CSSI (Console Sub...
