QUALITY CONTROL IN-PROCESS INSPECTOR

JOB SUMMARY

Under the direct supervision of the Quality Director, the Quality In-Process Inspector is responsible for assuring production parts are inspected by the machine operators in compliance with the frequency and methods determined by the IPR and the Quality Team. This is accomplished by travelling throughout the shop and working closely with the machine operators, supervisors, and plant manager to assure that the customer quality requirements are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions of this job include, but are not limited to, the following:

+ Promote and support the requirements and principles of the Precise Quality Management System and AS9100.

+ Auditing of all jobs currently running on the shop floor to assure that all IPR`s and QCR`s are completed by the machinists as required per the job traveler and customer requirements.
