QC Inspector – Painting / Coating

ROLE PURPOSE

To perform independent quality control inspection of welding activities on behalf of client, ensuring works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, procedures, codes, and project specifications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform in-process and final QC inspection of welding works in accordance with approved ITPs, drawings, and specifications.
• Monitor and inspect welding activities for compliance with approved WPS/PQR/WPQ.
• Verify welder qualifications and welding consumable control/traceability.
• Review and coordinate NDT requirements (RT/UT/MT/PT) with the NDT team and evaluate results against acceptance criteria.
• Review and verify contractor/sub-contractor QC documentation, material certificates, and inspection & test records.
• Raise Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) for deviations and monitor corrective actions to close-out.
