QA Laboratory Tech

Description
QA laboratory support by completing real time testing of
products during the manufacturing process. Under general supervision, the
position routinely does the testing of fill weights, and seam measurements, but
will be a backup role for the QA Technician duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
· Performs fill
weight measurements on in-process capsules and finished product capsules.
· Performs seam
measurements on in-process capsules.
· Records test data,
applying statistical quality control procedures.
· Follows written
instructions on SOP's, Standard Test Methods, Analytical Test Methods, and
Batch Master Form to determine product quality.
· Selects products
for tests at specified stages in production process, and tests products for
variety of qualities such as physical characteristics, performance, and
chemical characteristics.
