Purchasing and Inventory Control Clerk

Consolidated Gypsum Supply Ltd. has been distributing building supply materials in Western Canada since 1977. We are currently looking for a full‑time Purchasing and Inventory Control Clerk to join our team in Edmonton, AB.

Reporting to the Branch/Operations Manager, this position is responsible for purchasing goods, managing inventory, and coordinating activities related to procurement at the branch level. This position does not include negotiating with vendors.

Responsibilities

• Order all resale inventory at the branch level including showroom products, bulk purchases, and winter bookings.
• Issue and expedite vendor purchase orders as required.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Schedule/book receiving appointments.
• Process material returns efficiently.
• Conduct monthly inventory cycle counts with Branch/Operations Manager.
