Pump Operator

This exciting opportunity exists to operate, inspect and maintain water pumps, including the starting and stopping of pumps as per standard operating procedures.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations

•Punctual adherence to site-specific time schedules/shift times.

•Attend safety talks.

•Perfor daily risk assessments.

•Conduct shift handovers.

•Valve operations: open and close valves as per standard operating procedures.

•Stop and start pumps as per standard operating procedures.

•Report downtime on pumps.

•Report spillages.

•Report leaks.

•Write reports (Hourly/Daily).

•Monitor incoming and outgoing line pressures.

•Assist and carry out any tasks and instructions from higher line managers.

•Take samples (PH and turbidity).
