Works as a member of a multidisciplinary team in providing comprehensive care to clients and family members living with mental health challenges. This involves completing a comprehensive mental health assessment, developing a treatment plan, and providing direct psychotherapy to clients and family members to help them achieve their optimal level of health.

Duties

• Provide psychotherapy to clients and/or their families on an outpatient basis.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to conduct initial assessments and develop personalized intervention plans; interview clients individually, in the family context or in groups to determine and evaluate the client’s social, financial, psychological, cultural and family situation.
• Provide individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy for clients to assist in resolving complex problems and mental health challenges.
