Project Engineer

Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Project Engineer to support a large power generation company's Solar Project. This will be an 18-month contract, 3 days a week on site in Edmonton, Alberta. The project engineer will be supporting the technical execution, utility integration, and commissioning efforts for a utility-scale renewable energy project that is currently in the latter stages of engineering. The Project Engineer will work closely with the owner, EPC partners, engineering consultants, and the utility to coordinate technical deliverables, manage documentation requirements, and support project execution through commissioning and turnover.

This individual will serve as a key technical resource for the project, helping to manage utility interconnection requirements, review engineering and controls scope, coordinate stakeholder communication, and support integration between site systems and the operational infrastructure.
