Overview

Our Nuclear Canada business is experiencing significant growth driven in part by planned New Build projects underway internationally and domestically. Candu Energy Inc., an AtkinsRéalis company has entered into an agreement with Ontario Power Generation (OPG) to deliver the Darlington New Nuclear Project (DNNP). The project is spearheading the deployment of the GEH BWRX-300 Small Modular Reactor (SMR) before the end of the decade. It will be the first grid‑scale SMR deployed in Canada.

The Project Director ­– Engineering will report to the Project Director ­– Engineering, DNNP and will be responsible for assigned aspects of engineering, procurement and construction delivery for a New Nuclear program. This role will require close stakeholder management of partners and client, as well as leadership of project team members.
