Project Assistant

Description We are looking for a Project Assistant to support a one-night culinary event in Spartanburg, South Carolina. This Contract position will focus on creating a welcoming experience for attendees by assisting with guest arrival, event access, and general event-day support. The ideal candidate is friendly, organized, and comfortable helping visitors while keeping check-in activities running smoothly.

Responsibilities:
• Welcome attendees as they arrive and provide a positive first impression throughout the event
• Manage the check-in process by verifying guest entry and using scanning tools accurately
• Respond to attendee questions about event activities, timing, and general logistics
• Help direct guests to appropriate event areas, including chef stations and featured experiences
• Support smooth crowd flow by coordinating with event staff during busy arrival periods
