Area of Responsibility

Reporting to the Coordinator, this position provides direct supervision to contract, part-time and volunteer support staff to ensure quality program delivery and excellent customer service to meet current and changing needs of the community.

This exciting new position will be responsible for the delivery of youth programming at the City of Brampton’s newly developing youth hubs while building consistency and alignment in other recreation spaces operated by the Recreation Division. The programmer will also engage with youth and youth‑serving providers to ensure there are holistic services and programs offered for Brampton youth. The position will require being present at the site locations 5 days a week and will include evenings and weekends to ensure that the youth hubs are operating as envisioned and planned.
