Shape the future of young minds in Charlottetown, PE, as a Program Leader in our afterschool and summer programs for children aged 5-12. Lead activities while ensuring safety and engagement.
As a Program Leader, your role will encompass at least 21 hours weekly, during which you will facilitate various activities, manage behaviours, and promote an enriching environment for participants. You will also communicate regularly with co-workers and families to enhance the program experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Supervise activities Monday to Friday within program hours
• Lead and manage participant engagement during sessions
• Ensure children’s safety continuously throughout the day
• Handle snack preparation and clean up responsibilities
• Maintain accurate logs of incidents and interactions
Requirements:
• Minimum 1 year of child care experience needed
• Emergency First Aid & CPR certification required
• Criminal Reference and/or Vulnerable Sector Check<...
