Key Responsibilities
- Conceptualizing product designs and blueprints
- Collaborating with product designers and other engineers
- Strategizing the development process, including raw materials and machinery
- Monitoring production and reporting progress
- Addressing any bottle necks or issues within production
- Estimating the cost of production
- Estimating cost of materials needed to complete production
- Collaborating with executive-level management to align expectations and objectives
- Completing progress reports
- Oversee installation of machinery and equipment
- Plan and schedule regular maintenance
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
- Ensure workshop is clean, tidy and well organized
