PRODUCTION CONTROLLER (SHIPS)

Summary You will serve as a Production Controller (Ships) in the LHD/LHA Project Office, Code 154 of SUPSHIP GULF COAST. Responsibilities You will coordinate, monitor, and expedite the efforts of SUPSHIP office and supporting NAVSEA activities throughout the ship construction period, focusing on events necessary to assume timely delivery ship delivery. You will monitor the development and installation of the ship's systems, testing of these systems, and readiness of these systems for certification and delivery. You will review shipboard systems performance and other contractual documentation to assure shipboard systems and contractual performance completeness and compliance. You will monitor the activities and problems confronting the shipbuilder and various SUPSHIP Gulf Coast departments by conducting regular conferences and establishing a reporting system to keep Code 154 and others informed of ship status and issues.
