General shop duties under supervision, including providing assembly assistance, parts cleaning, assisting in shop organization, and maintenance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Academic
- Grade 12 diploma preferred. Courses in mechanical/electrical technology are an asset.
Work Experience
- Some mechanical/electrical assembly and/or metal fabrication experience or equivalent preferred. Experience in the use of pneumatic tools is an asset. Forklift certification is required.
Other
- Ability to read blueprints, competence in mathematics is an asset. Good computer skills an asset. Ability to lift 35 lbs.
