Product Design Engineer

+ **In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:** • Generate innovative ideas, develop concepts, and design new products as well as improvements to existing products• Perform engineering calculations and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) stack-up analysis• Apply core engineering principles to solve design and development challenges• Provide CAD support using Solid Edge or SolidWorks for new product development and sustaining activities• Drive cost optimization and product quality improvement initiatives• Apply design for manufacturability and assembly (DFMA) principles in product development• Execute engineering change requests and engineering change notes efficiently and accurately• Support the development, testing, and evaluation of functional prototypes• Create and manage costed bills of materials (BOM) and use PLM tools such as Teamcenter• Prioritize tasks effectively to meet project timelines and customer expectations• Communicate clearly with internal teams and glob...
