Opportunity Description
Responsibilities
- Will handle some main procurement packages for the project, reporting to Dep. Proc. Manager and Proc. Manager
- Evaluate the requests from Requesting Units (RU), mainly from the Construction team
- Evaluate vendors/suppliers based on their capabilities and performance
- Release RFQs and evaluate the submitted proposals based on the Project requirements
- Prepare comparative/analysis and award recommendations for selected vendor/supplier
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably registered Civil Engineer
- 5–10 years of procurement experience in construction/infrastructure projects. Experience in railway projects is a plus.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills
- Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and subcontracting
- Knowledge of local procurement laws and industry standards
