SA - Gauteng, GermistonR60 0000 CTC Per Month Basic SalaryMy client, a well-established heavy engineering and manufacturing company based in Germiston, is seeking an experienced Procurement Officer to join their Supply Chain team.Minimum requirements:
Relevant Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years' procurement experience within a heavy engineering, fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment.
Strong supplier negotiation and contract management experience.
Experience managing engineering consumables and inventory.
Working knowledge of procurement systems such as SAGE, QTation, or similar ERP systems.
Solid understanding of supplier performance management and procurement best practices.
