**Description:**
You will be the Procurement Engineer Staff for the Supply Chain & Engineering team. Our team is responsible for coordinating with MFC Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, the Supply Base and industry experts to ensure product design, production, test and qualification.
**What You Will Be Doing**
As the Procurement Engineer Staff you will be responsible for driving supplier rate acceleration, cost reduction, and lead‑time improvements while ensuring technical compliance.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
+ Analyze technical data, designs, performance specs, and manufacturing constraints.
+ Collaborate with suppliers to accelerate rates and recommend alternate processes/materials.
+ Identify and qualify additional sources to mitigate supply risk.
+ Drive down supplier cost, improve affordability, and reduce lead times.
+ Travel >50% to supplier sites and internal stakeholder meetings.
