Minimum requirements:
- Matric
- Relevant tertiary qualification would be beneficial
- 5 years experience in the fresh fruit export industry, with exposure to both local procurement and international trading or marketing would be highly beneficial
- Previous experience working with South African fruit producers, specifically within the citrus sector
- Proven experience in international fruit trading and client or buyer relationship management would be advantageous
- Computer Literate
- Fluent in Afrikaans and English
- Own reliable transport
- Procure fresh fruit from local South African producers, with a strong focus on citrus supply
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with growers and suppliers
- Negotiate pricing, volumes, and supply agreements with local producers
